JANUARY NEWSLETTER

MISSIONARY REPORT January 2026

GREETINGS Dear brothers and sisters, God bless each and every one of you. We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support during 2025. It was a great blessing to have your backing, and we pray that we can continue to count on your support during this new year of 2026.

ACTIVITIES FOR JANUARY 2026 January 2-13: We had planned to visit our families in El Salvador and the churches we have supported in previous years; however, this visit had to be canceled.

January 17, 24, and 31: We had planned to share the "History Makers 2" course at Bethany

Baptist Church in Estelí, but these activities were also canceled

January 25: A workshop was scheduled at the Baptist Church in San Antonio, which was also canceled.

The cancellation of scheduled activities was due to Pastor Felipe's health issues. In mid-December, he began a dental procedure that required ten days of treatment before being evaluated by dental specialists. On January 8th, the dentist indicated that it was urgent to perform treatment in two phases:

1) Remove the existing dentures, extract implants and damaged teeth, treat any infections, perform bone grafts, and install a temporary prosthesis (cost: $3,500 USD).

2) Fabricate and place a new hybrid acrylic denture (approximate cost: $3,300 USD).

The first phase began on January 28th. The surgery lasted four hours. I am currently recovering and have been advised to minimize activity during this period. A post-surgical evaluation will be scheduled for February 9, 2026.

ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT

Despite health limitations, the Lord allowed us to continue with some activities: January 20: Meeting with a new student, to whom study materials were given. January 22: Meeting with another student for their evaluation and delivery of their second set of materials

We have also used this time to: Prepare new courses Conduct personal medical checkups Maintain telephone and text communication with the pastors we support Deliver discipleship materials to some pastors Provide some ministry consultations

On January 26, I began a discipleship course, which we will share with others after we have completed it. Theos Full Life

FUTURE PROJECTS We are not currently scheduling any events until this recovery process is complete. From April 21 to May 12, we will be in Canada, attending to ministry and personal matters.

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY

Project: Pastoral Retreat Objectives: To foster the spiritual and emotional well-being of pastors. To strengthen unity among leaders. To provide practical tools for ministry. To create a space for prayer, worship, and reflection. Budget: $400 (Food, materials, and bus fare for the preacher coming from El Salvador)

Project: Bibles and Tracts Bibles and tracts can be obtained free of charge, but transportation from Houston, Texas to Nicaragua is not free. Budget: $400. Objectives: To facilitate access to the Word of God through the free distribution of Bibles and evangelistic tracts, strengthening missionary and evangelistic work in Nicaragua.

INTERCESSION We ask you to pray for: My speedy and complete dental recovery Financial provision for medical treatments Strength to resume ministry activities Students in training The churches we continue to support

THANKSGIVING We give thanks to God because, even in the midst of trials, He continues to sustain the work and touch hearts. We also thank each of you for your prayers, support, and constant love for this ministry.

CLOSING REMARKS We continue to trust that the Lord, who began the good work, will complete it. Thank you for walking with us in this mission. May the grace, peace, and love of Christ be with you all.

Report April – May 2026

MISSION REPORT April 21 – May 31, 2026 Nicaragua, Central America

1. Greeting and Gratitude Beloved brothers and sisters, friends, and collaborators in the Lord's work: Receive a warm greeting in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We wish to express our deep gratitude to God for allowing us to serve Him for another month in the mission field. Each day we witness that His faithfulness endures forever and that His grace continues to open doors for the expansion of His Kingdom.

We also want to thank every pastor, leader, church, intercessor, and donor who walks alongside us. Although many are not physically in Nicaragua, they are an essential part of every training session, every trip, every meeting, and every life impacted by the Gospel. Your prayers, words of encouragement, and financial support make it possible for this work to continue moving forward. As we reflect on the past weeks, we recognize that everything we have accomplished has been possible solely by the grace of God. As the psalmist says, “Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name be the glory” (Psalm 115:1).

2. Activities Carried Out April 23 – We met with Francisco Mejía of Maxter Taxes to review the progress of the ministry's charity registration process and took the opportunity to discuss administrative and accounting aspects of the ministry. During the meeting, we were informed that the official response regarding the ministry's charity registration would be sent soon via email. We thank God that Maxter Taxes agreed to collaborate by filing the church's annual tax return in exchange for a donation, which represents a significant blessing and a demonstration of God's favor upon our organization.

April 29 – We met with the leaders of the Deersbrook Foundation to share the progress made during the past year of ministry work. It was an opportunity to share testimonies, report on the current status of projects, and outline the strategic objectives for this year. We are deeply grateful for the trust and interest shown by our international partners.

May 3 – I had the privilege of ministering at TABER Kitchener Church during the morning and afternoon services. The theme was “Doing Mission Together,” emphasizing that the Great Commission is not the sole responsibility of missionaries, pastors, and leaders, but of the entire Church. We reflected on how God uses unity between local churches and missionaries to extend the Gospel to new regions and generations. It was encouraging to observe the congregation's interest in becoming more actively involved in missions.

May 18-26 – We conducted the “History Makers” workshop, Module 1, with the Alpha and Omega Church of Estelí, under the leadership of Pastor Roberto Carlos Gaitán Fletes. Eight days of teaching and group discussion workshops were held. Twenty-five participants registered for the workshop, of whom twenty successfully completed all sessions and received their international certificate of recognition for their efforts. What encouraged us most were the testimonies of the participants, who expressed having received new tools for ministry, a renewed vision for leadership, and a greater passion for serving God and their communities.

The History Makers program is based on eight essential values: • Intimacy with God • Passion for the Harvest • Visionary Leadership • Relevant Evangelism • Multiplication of Leaders • Priority to Family • Stewardship • Integrity

At the conclusion of the training, each participant expressed their commitment to applying what they had learned and sharing it with others. We pray that these teachings will produce abundant fruit for many years to come. May 23 – An in-person meeting was held with a student of the Diploma in Pastoral Ministry in Estelí. We reviewed assignments, answered questions, and delved deeper into the topics. This student was behind due to health problems.

3. Upcoming Activities Calendar June 27 – We will have a training workshop in Estelí (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.). June 28 – We will have a special ministry activity (9:00 a.m.). July 9-12 – The “History Makers, Module 1” workshop will be held at the Reformed Church of Masaya, led by Pastor Elías Carvajal. We pray that God will prepare the hearts of the participants. July 20-25 – We will be offering the basic computer workshop again in Estelí, at two different times.

4. Investment Opportunities in the Kingdom of God A. Electronic Tablets for Pastors This project seeks to bless pastors with limited resources who lack technological tools. A tablet would allow them to access study materials, training, and ministry resources, even taking advantage of the free internet access available in some public parks.

B. Ministry Training Center To date, we have invested approximately $11,600 in rented facilities ($400 per month). We believe the time has come to take a step of faith toward acquiring our own space for training and ministry meetings. We estimate that an investment of approximately $50,000 USD would be required to purchase an existing house or land with subsequent construction of suitable facilities.

5. Intercessory Prayer Requests • For new donors and ministry partners. • For the expansion of the ministry into southern Nicaragua, without neglecting the north of the country. We thank God for raising up a brother who will help us coordinate events in the northern region. • For lasting fruit in the lives of the training participants. • For health, protection, wisdom, and a fresh anointing upon our marriage and ministry.

6. Final Words With grateful hearts, we conclude this report, recognizing that you are a fundamental part of all that God is doing in Nicaragua. Thank you to the pastors who open their doors, to the donors who generously support this work, and to the intercessors who cover us in prayer.

We continue to believe that the best is yet to come. We say goodbye emphasizing the words of the Apostle Paul: “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58).
